I've always found myself more of a dog person, until recently when little Oscar made his way into our home. He was found all alone in a ditch on a cold and rainy afternoon by my son and his girlfriend as they walked home after school.
Now, we weren't looking for a kitten. Let me be clear on that. We have two dogs that are PLENTY for us, but I couldn't let this little one experience one more moment of fear and hunger, so we now have a kitty. :-)
If a human can imprint on a cat, my son did so with Oscar. Oscar loves Jeb so much! If Jeb is in the room, Oscar goes straight to him. If Jeb speaks, Oscar starts meowing. They are precious together. Jeb wasn't much of a cat person either before Oscar. Little Oscar has changed everything!
This gift of love to our family, is definitely also a gift of BLISS.
This first picture is of him just last week playing Peek-a-boo.
The 2nd picture is him waiting to see the vet while sitting in Jeb's lap.
And the 3rd picture is of Daisy, our Golden-Irish, trying to become Oscar's friend. Daisy REALLY likes Oscar. Any chance that Daisy can sniff or push Oscar with that big nose of hers, she does it. Adorable, right?!
